A Posteriori, LLC celebrates 1 year anniversary
Albany Firm makes Public Procurement a national strategic priority
On August 25, 2024, the Albany-based A Posteriori, LLC procurement as a Service firm celebrated its first year in business.
Since opening their doors in August of 2023, A Posteriori, LLC has partnered with more than a dozen private and public sector clients and is positioned to double the number of clients as year two begins.
For their private clients, A Posteriori, LLC has helped secure more than 10 million dollars in government contracts. In addition, it has helped companies focus on their public sector sales strategy and generated the tools to navigate a complicated and often opaque process.
Cathy Calhoun, a longtime expert on the inner workings of the New York Government and the current EVP government/Client Affairs and Public Sector title for Prutech Solutions Inc., said, “We contracted A Posteriori to support our RFP interviews and presentations. They identified opportunities for us to maximize our connection with government clients and align with the client’s mission."
For government clients, A Posteriori, LLC and its team of procurement, educational design, and support experts have represented clients in 6 states by redesigning procurement policies and procedures, augmenting staff where there are gaps, and assessing and mapping organizations to prepare them for modernization.
Matt Millea at SUNY ESF added, “A Posteriori, LLC identified a series of modernizations and developed solicitations for our executive priorities while augmenting our staff. While it is on us to walk the path, A Posteriori, LLC helped to light the way.”
A Posteriori, LLC hosted a training event for vendors in November, co-sponsored by the NYS Business Council, the national public Procurement insight company Procurated, and the local firm Tech Valley Talent. With over 70 attendees representing more than a dozen Fortune 500 hundred companies, A Posteriori has provided regional and national trainings to over 1500 procurement officers, vendors, and education designers nationwide, including as a sponsor and panelist for the NY City and State Magazine Diversity Summit in May and numerous NIGP and IACET events.
